We all know that as a busy mom it can be tough to keep the kids busy when they’ve grown tired of playing with the same toys. We thought we’d share are some simple and cheap arts and crafts ideas you can enjoy with your kids. We hope you enjoy!

  1. Paper Plate Masks
    Materials: Paper plates, markers, crayons, scissors, string, glue, and decorations like buttons, feathers, or fabric.
    Instructions: Cut holes for eyes, decorate with colors and shapes, then attach string to the sides to create a mask.

  2. Toilet Paper Roll Animals
    Materials: Toilet paper rolls, paint, construction paper, googly eyes, glue, and markers.
    Instructions: Paint the rolls, then cut out paper shapes for ears, tails, and other features. Stick everything on to create animals like owls, cats, or lions.

  3. Nature Collage
    Materials: Leaves, sticks, flowers, paper, glue.
    Instructions: Take a walk to collect natural items, then arrange them on paper to make a beautiful collage. You can create shapes or even animals with the pieces.

  4. Salt Dough Creations
    Materials: Flour, salt, water, rolling pin, cookie cutters, and paint.
    Instructions: Mix flour, salt, and water to create salt dough. Roll it out, cut out shapes, bake them, and once cool, paint and decorate.

    Materials: Paper towel roll, construction paper, scissors, glue, and crayons.
